What was the highlight of Amareclub Red Sun Village

The resort was good, but not great, buffet was okay, Not an authentic Italian food experience.

We really enjoyed our time in Sardinia. The resort was good, but not great. I initially thought I had chosen the breakfast-only option, but upon arrival, I discovered that I had selected the full board. I wouldn’t choose that option again; while the food was okay, it didn’t provide the authentic Italian experience I was hoping for. During our nine-night stay, we had lunch and dinner at the resort a few times, but we also explored local restaurants in Isola Rossa and nearby pizzerias in the mountains which were all amazing! Although we enjoyed our holiday, I found Isola Rossa to be somewhat isolated. To take day boat trips to La Maddalena, we had to drive an hour to get there. The terrain is quite hilly with winding roads, so the drive can be tiring. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the pools were nice. We appreciated getting out of the resort to visit the local beach and town. A car is definitely needed if you want to explore beyond the resort. If you prefer to stay put and eat buffet-style food, then this is the place for you!

The buffet food was just ok, but the Location was a little isolated.

Good experience, we recommend this hotel (except Catarina)

The hotel was good (food, place)

- without heated swimming pool - lack of communication sometimes for the activity We didn’t receive a good customer service from one of the receptionist: Catarina (lazy, impolite, liar). A part of the bad service from her at the hotel, two days after we did the checkout, contacted the hotel because needed help with the water sport shop located in Marinedda beach, she answered the call and she was impolite when we asked for help, even when we asked another things during stay.

Wonderful

Very nice hotel, clean room, comfortable bed and great AC. pool area lovely, loads of sun beds available even around 12:00. There is a train that takes you to the beach as well, we never used it but it’s available and has to be booked the evening before. The location is a bit remote, we rented a car so had no issues, close to different attractions in Sardinia (60-90 min away) .

We only had breakfast at the hotel and it was repetitive and basic. Taste wise was ok, nothing special but not bad .

Very Good

Comfortable and nicely maintained holiday ressort (we had full board). Rooms very nice and comfortable, my kid liked the youtube on the TV-set, Two nice pool areas, but no slides.

Breakfast only until 9:30 - distance to the smaller beach is 10 min of a hilly walk, to the larger beach is approx 25 min, but they offer a bus service morning and afternoon (non during lunch time) If you arrive by car, its hard to find. Requires to go a bumpy dust road for the last 500 m,

Good

A beautiful view of the sunset from some rooms. The more distant beach from the hotel was fine, and a plus for people without a rented car was that the hotel provided a shuttle bus.

Some rooms do not meet the standard of a 4-star hotel. The nearest beach to the hotel cannot be called a beach. The dining area was crowded. There was a 10-minute wait in line for the classic Italian dish "pizza." The evening program was specifically tailored for the Italian audience. The animators didn't even attempt to say anything in English or any other language.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay thanks to the great rooms, excellent facilities, helpful reception stuff.

We had a mostly positive experience. The rooms were clean, spacious, and nicely decorated, while the bed was very comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The hotel offered excellent facilities. The reception staff were friendly and professional, providing great customer service.

Unfortunately, the pool staff were not polite and frequently tried to close the pool before the scheduled 7:00 PM closing time, which was disappointing.

Good value for the money

Good value for the money. After reading some of the reviews I was sceptical about the place. But in the end we had very nice stay. We stayed for 4 nights and had breakfast included ( around 300e in June) Usually hotel has all inclusive offers. People staying there were italian families with kids or big groups, so it can be noisy during the meals time. On the other hand we had nice calm room (the hotel is made from the few buildings ,creating a "village") Our room was far from the pool area, so it was calm, with nice small garden in the front. I think we got a family and bigger room as it had 2 beds for kids, apart from the double bed. Rooms and bathroom are very clean, and cleaned everyday. 2 beaches close to the hotel, sunbeds included which was great . Caneddi beach 5 min walk with rocks and cool chill beach bar. For the other sandy beach Marineda there is small "train" from the hotel very often, so you can be at the beach in 10min, 2 beach restaurants. Closest city Isola Rosa with restaurants, shop. Since we had car we visited that part of the island - Castelsardo(30min) and beautiful La Pelosa beach ( 1,5h)

Maybe location, ( it is not on the most popular side of Sardinia, best beaches are on the other side) but if you search for more calm chill place it is ok. Beaches are more "wild" on this side. The road to come to the hotel is dusty. We did 4 nights here 4 nights on the east side of Sardinia. You need a car, to visit the island anyway. Maybe breakfast could have more fruits and salads. It could be maybe better organised, knifes are always missing for example. We ate once lunch there ( paid extra) and it is not worth the money, not the best quality of the food. But overall a nice stay.

We loved the location and the full board The food was absolutely nice , with a lot of option , dinner breakfast and lunch, wine included .

Our room was too close to the pool and there was music during the night, so very noisy. There was two ladies at the reception, the young one was very nice e helpful but the other one was very rude, I really didn’t appreciate the way she spoked to me. More than this, there was a problem with the room cleaning , we could enter in the room at 5 pm how they said , so we were obliged to wait for more than one hour to have our room ready. The big swimming pool was closed at that time.

Wonderful

2 swimming pools, 2 beaches (one with rocks close to the hotel and sandy one 2 min drive away)- what else You need for hot and sunny holidays. Ladies at the reception were nice and helpful.

Menu during dinner and lunch was provided only in italian. Restaurant was quite crowdy during breakfast (available only till 9:30) and dinner.

Very Good

Nice facilities, nice and clean room, fairly good selection of food for dinner. Two swimming pools with sun beds are great.

Impossible to relax before 23h due to extremely loud music and programme for children. This could have easily started and finished earlier. The road to the hotel is a bit bumpy

Secluded part of Sardinia, a car is a must

Good range of activities/entertainment by AmareItalia. Nice pools although the jacuzzi only opened on the last day we were there. They have a no towel saving sunbeds so there was always a sunbed to use. Good range of food if you don't have any allergies. Options of 2 beaches. The guy who did our check in was amazing and super helpful.

The pool bar opened early enough and it was pricey. The pizza man was rude and not helpful at all. My husband is vegan and there was limited choice of food and no attempt was made to accommodate this despite speaking to 4 different people and sending a message ahead of our arrival.

Breakfast very good. Stuff is nice. Hotel looks new.

Suit is new, big, separate, +patio

In the shower was no walls. And floor is not straight. Every time when you take a shower whole bathroom (toilet inside also) will be under water. And there is nothing to clean or dry it.

Brilliant

I thought it was great value for money. There are some 'snagging' issues around the hotel that are being finished off but overall it is a beautiful hotel with loads of potential. Dinner was great and we really enjoyed it. The views and sunsets are incredible. We ate lunch at the Splash Bar most days and again it was good value for money and the staff were great. Our room was cleaned really well each day. Our daughter loved the baby disco each evening

There was a sewage-y smell in the entertainment area on one of our five nights there. Breakfast could have been better with more variety and fresh items. The car parking situation needs to be improved as it was a bit chaotic. We had a triple room which was a double bed and a sofa bed. When the sofa bed was out, it was difficult to walk around it as the room was quite small

Not for solo traveler's looking for a quiet stay

The room was really good, nice, modern and clean. I was very well welcomed, thank you for that.

This is a very busy and very very noisy place. Yelling children, crying babies, loud music, parents playing with their children in the corridor even bumping in my door (really disrespectful)... So if you like it quite this isn't your place. The breakfast was okay but not more. People were really rushing to get food. No glasses, instead you have to use plastic cups at breakfast which should be a thing these days anymore. No parking, you will have to park somehow illegally.
